At the Robert Moses Bridge battlefield, Miles watched the battle in the distance and continued speaking.
"This 'reality overwrite' is all-encompassing. It didn't just change our current world—it even altered the 'history' that had already happened. It sounds crazy, but my instincts tell me that a power involving timelines and causality on this level... 'those people' really could do it."
Selene fell completely silent.
The secret she had taken such pride in was so insignificant before him. He even knew far more details than she did as someone who had personally experienced it.
"Looks like you know even more than I do... so much more that I feel like I've fallen behind the times." Selene gave a self-mocking smile. "In that case, what else do you want to know from me?"
"Other things, of course." Miles continued, "Besides you, who else still has memories of the original world? And where did Betsy and the Frost Sisters go? I still haven't seen them. Most importantly... how did you escape from Kamar-Taj?"
Overwhelmed by the barrage of questions, Selene took a deep breath and slowly processed the information. After organizing her thoughts, she began answering them one by one.
"First, just as you said, the world's 'overwrite' was all-encompassing," Selene said. "No one could escape it completely. In theory, anyway. Unless... they possessed some kind of 'higher-dimensional power' themselves."
"Higher-dimensional power..." Miles murmured, then suddenly realized something. "Wanda?!"
The Scarlet Witch, Wanda Maximoff. Her Chaos Magic, capable of altering reality, was undoubtedly the best possible explanation for the "higher-dimensional power" Selene had mentioned!
"You guessed right. Logically speaking, the changes to the world shouldn't have affected her." Selene nodded, then said helplessly, "But unfortunately, after I escaped Kamar-Taj during the initial changes to the world, I went to Sokovia to find her.
