A streak of light flashed past, taking the form of the teenage Quicksilver. He taunted the many alien warriors before him, then accelerated again and vanished abruptly.
In the next instant, everyone suddenly staggered about. Their weapons disappeared from their hands, and they screamed as they crashed to the ground.
"Damn it, what was that?!"
"A speedster!"
Amid the chaos, Kang, clad in silver armor, looked grim. Without hesitation, he raised a hand, attempting to use Temporal Manipulation to restrain Quicksilver's speed.
But in the next moment, a blazing golden beam descended from above and precisely interrupted his movement.
"Bullying children isn't exactly commendable behavior. Though trash like you probably doesn't care."
Iron Man hovered before Kang. The reactor on his chest was no longer its familiar blue, but shone with a dim green screen of light. This was the "Anti-Temporal Control" module Tony Stark had just designed, capable of effectively countering most temporal abilities.
"Tony Stark..."
Kang muttered to himself, his expression darkening. He instinctively wanted to retreat, only to discover that another figure had landed behind him.
Vision had appeared as well.
"Is he the last one in this batch?" Vision asked.
"Make it quick." Iron Man was succinct. "Pym's calculations are in. The next wave of 'bugs' will break through the temporal loop soon. We don't have much time."
"Understood."
Vision nodded calmly.
In an instant, the Mind Stone on his forehead blazed brightly, firing a pure golden high-energy beam! At the same time, the concentrated cannon in Iron Man's chest unleashed a destructive pillar of searing white light!
"Get lost!"
Kang roared and erected an energy shield. The translucent barrier lasted less than a second under the dual assault before exploding like glass shattered by a sledgehammer.
