Miles looked at Conqueror Kang, who had suddenly appeared outside, and sneered. "You finally showed yourself!"
After letting Conqueror Kang go in the Quantum Realm, Miles had been certain that he would appear in this battle. There was even a good chance that, like Selene, Conqueror Kang had been hiding in the shadows since the start of the war, waiting for an opportunity. But unlike Selene, Conqueror Kang had only ever had one target: Immortus... or rather, the Eternal Crystal.
That was why he had watched Miles and the others fight Immortus from the sidelines, waiting for his chance. In the end, he struck the instant Immortus had been forced by Miles and the others to reveal his trump card, the "Eternal Crystal incarnation," defeating Immortus in one move and taking the crystal.
"That bastard... He might have known I was being used by Immortus the moment he saw the Eternal Crystal Shard."

Selene merely smiled indifferently and said nothing.
Miles ignored her and turned his gaze back to the crystal shard in his hand.
Under the suppression of Miles's psychic power, the shard's energy had completely calmed down.
