Susan silently withdrew her hand.
Johnny and Ben looked at her. The three of them fell into silent stillness, and for a moment, no one spoke.
As the room quieted down, they gradually began to hear the shouts of the crowd outside.
"Come out, Reed Richards!"
"Stop hiding in your tower!"
"Hand over the child!"
A few minutes later, Reed came into the living room and sat around a small table with the other three.
"Are you done with your work already?" Johnny looked at Reed and asked. "Where's Miles?"
"He said he needed rest. The Spark of the Heart state put a tremendous burden on him as well." Reed answered, then could not help adding, "Of course, the good news is that we've made progress."
