After another busy day, Spider-Man took off his mask and flopped onto the bed.
Peter lay on his back, staring blankly at the ceiling. His mind was a tangled mess, like a ball of yarn that had been played with by a cat, filled with fragments of all the absurd scenes from tonight.
He had always thought he was New York's only "freak." Even counting the "Lizard" Doctor Connors had become, that only made two.
But tonight, three names had suddenly been added to that list.
Max, an ordinary electrician who had abruptly turned into a "man who shoots electricity"...
Kraven the Hunter, who wore animal hides and insisted on playing wilderness survival in the middle of the city...
And that guy called Psypoint...
Most importantly, all of them were completely different from him.
Electro was dangerous, but Peter could barely keep him under control. As for Kraven the Hunter, although it had been their first encounter, he did not seem all that strong based on raw power alone.
Only that mysterious Psypoint...
Judging from what he had done last night, his actions seemed to be driven by an extremely clear purpose. He was cold and efficient, and he did not seem to care in the slightest about justice.
Yet his abilities were so powerful that neither Peter nor Max, Electro, had possessed even the slightest ability to resist him.
But... he did not seem to be a pure villain either. He had not actually killed Kraven the Hunter, only sent him to prison. And even... his attitude toward Peter and Gwen had seemed a little strange...
"Are you a hero... or a villain?"
