In the underground base, the black crystal condensed from Dormammu's dark energy hung silently in midair.

Chu Hang stared at it as if it were an unsolvable Rubik's Cube.

He wanted to try and understand Dormammu's cosmic-overlord-level energy.

But he failed. Neither the Superpower Copier within him nor the several powers of law it possessed could analyze this energy.

He tried pouring his own cosmic energy into it, wanting to see whether they would mix.

The result was like pouring a bucket of water into the Sahara Desert. The energy vanished without a trace, not even producing a bubble. Instead, the crystal became even blacker and denser.

"Damn difficult." Chu Hang cursed and withdrew his hand.

Just as he was thinking, the satellite phone Fury had specially provided rang in his pocket. It was an encrypted, untraceable line.

A low-resolution avatar of a one-eyed man popped up on the screen.

"Fury." Chu Hang answered lazily.

"Chen," the voice on the other end said heavily, with the roar of engines in the background. "I need a favor."

"I'm retired. Enjoying life. Don't disturb me."

"You said the same thing last time, then ran off to Harlem the next day to wrestle a big green guy." Fury clearly could not be bothered wasting words with him. "Stark has a problem."

In just a few words, he quickly explained Tony Stark's current situation. After the battle in New York, Tony had gone off the rails. He could not sleep night after night, suffered endless nightmares, locked himself in his workshop, and built iron shells like a madman. His newest model had already reached Mark 42.
