The other Shard of the C'tan belonged to Vast Rak, known as "The Unbound," whose primary ability was to manipulate concepts such as space and dimensions.
His favorite pastime was dividing the bodies of intelligent beings across different spatial dimensions, savoring their boundless terror as they lingered between life and death.
There were also rumors that the Unbound had taught the Necrons the technology behind the Tesseract Labyrinth.
His purpose was obvious: to capture other Shards of the C'tan for him to toy with, thereby demonstrating his greatness.
Unsurprisingly, it had ultimately backfired, and the technology had been used on him instead.
After Ozakhan activated the two Tesseract Labyrinths, the Tomb Sentinels above them began tormenting the Shards of the C'tan within, forcing them to unleash endless fury and power.
