• Qian Daoliu told Jin Hao that Bibi Dong planned to send him to Heaven Dou Empire disguised as Xue Qinghe, and Jin Hao volunteered to protect Qian Renxue from the assignment.
• Jin Hao and his four protectors ambushed Xue Qinghe in the forest, and Jin Hao took his identity after Xue Qinghe absorbed an Ice Crystal Swan Spirit Ring.
• Jin Hao absorbed a ninety-two-thousand-year Spirit Bone, impersonated Xue Qinghe, and convinced Xue Ye that an attack had mutated his Martial Soul and raised his Soul Power.

Jin Hao strengthened his ties with the Seven Treasures Glazed Tile School, uncovered a possible cure for Dugu Bo and Dugu Yan, and persuaded Qian Renxue to let him continue his undercover mission. The arc left Jin Hao preparing for his engagement to Shui Bing'er and a stay at the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well.

• Jin Hao apologized to Dugu Yan and Ye Lingling for Xue Beng’s misconduct, then accepted Ning Fengzhi as his master and agreed to Xue Ye’s engagement arrangement with Shui Bing'er.

Back in Heaven Dou City, he claimed the Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud, met his newborn sister, and learned that Bibi Dong had tried to replace him.

• Lin Tianxin gave Shui Bing'er a Storage Soul Guidance Device before Jin Hao and Shui Bing'er completed their engagement rites, after which Xue Ye named Jin Hao Crown Prince.
• Jin Hao met Qian Renxue in secret and assured her that his engagement was part of his undercover mission, then arranged to obtain Immortal Herbs by helping Dugu Bo.
• Jin Hao helped Dugu Yan absorb a Grade Nine Dragon Ganoderma, evolving her Martial Soul into a Jade Phosphorus Jiao with a venom sac.
