Background / History

Fifty years before the Far North expedition, Quan Batian entered the Extreme North while at Rank 95 in search of a breakthrough. He fought the Ice Emperor for three days and nights; the two ultimately became friends. 18

He was present for Quan Cangtian’s Martial Soul awakening and test battle, where he reacted with pride after Cangtian defeated Quan Canghai despite the rank disparity. 1

When the Dark Soul Cult began pursuing the Heavenly Fire within Cangtian, Batian personally joined the group’s trial expedition. He chose to lead them into the Extreme North, promising to negotiate with the Ice Emperor if possible and suppress her first if necessary. 17 18
