Background

Li Tianyi was a Core Inner Sect Disciple connected to Supreme Elder Xuan Sha, whose relationship with the Blood Fiend Tower was unclear. He was dispatched to locate and pressure Chen Chen through Sun Pangzi, but Sun Pangzi refused to reveal Chen Chen’s whereabouts despite being beaten and interrogated. 147

After Chen Chen returned and defeated him, Li Tianyi joined Xuan Sha’s group in confronting Chen Chen at Xuan Sha’s cave dwelling. He and his disciples attacked first, only to be effortlessly defeated and crippled by Chen Chen. 150

Later, Li Tianyi obtained the inheritance of the Valley of Buried Gods. The inheritance enabled his pursuit of the “Heavenly Dao” and placed him in direct opposition to Chen Chen’s Chaos. 216
