The Adeptus Mechanicus's Skitarii were a bunch of little metal men with barely any flesh left on them, so their weapons were anything but clean. They could use weapons that emitted intense radiation.

Radium Rifles, for instance, fired extremely radioactive bullets. Even if the person hit did not die immediately, the intense radiation would damage their body and eventually kill them through radiation sickness.

And because Skitarii soldiers used radiation weapons for so long, the radiation levels inside their bodies were off the charts too. Just standing there, they were like the Radiation Sappers in Red Alert.

Li Qinwu had Power Armor and did not fear radiation, but this war had nothing to do with him, and he could not be bothered to get involved. He simply stood by the glass window and watched the show.

It was already night, and the sandstorm was still raging. Visibility was poor, and all Li Qinwu could see were occasional flashes of light in the storm.

He did not know how large the Ork invasion force was, or whether the Skitarii could repel their attack. In any case, he was comfortably watching the show from where he stood.

More than an hour passed before a blinding flash came from outside the window, followed by violent tremors that shook the earth.

"Nuclear Shells! They're using Nuclear Shells!"

Li Qinwu cried out in alarm.

The Ork invasion had to be enormous. He watched flashes repeatedly light up the thick sandstorm ahead.

The flashes from exploding Nuclear Shells continued all night. He kept count: over the course of that night, the Skitarii fired twenty-seven Nuclear Shells!
