These massive Ork missiles soared into the sky from where they stood, streaking toward Inquisitor Thraxol's fleet.
Some were blown apart midair by the fleet's point-defense weapons, but there were simply too many Ork missiles. A few still broke through the defensive network and struck the fleet.
Some ships in the fleet had Void Shields, which blocked the Ork missiles' attacks.
But the armed merchant vessels had no Void Shields. After taking a single Ork rocket, they were blasted into critical condition!
Inquisitor Thraxol's fleet exchanged fire with the Stompa battlegroup for over half an hour, but it was the warship fleet that could not endure any longer and chose to withdraw.
At the Hive City command center, Inquisitor Thraxol contacted the planetary governor.
"No! These Xenos' Void Shields are strange. We can't penetrate them no matter what we do. Their missiles are vicious, and we can't take it anymore. We have to maneuver and evade!"
After saying that, Inquisitor Thraxol ordered the fleet to withdraw. He had no intention of fighting to the death.
