Background / History

Ayanokoji enters Advanced Nurturing High School as a Class D student. Though he attracts little attention at the entrance ceremony, Hoshinomiya Rinyu notices his restrained movements and habit of quietly scanning his surroundings, judging that he does not fit naturally among the rest of Class D. Rinyu also identifies him as a central figure with the ambition to lead Class D to Class A. 1 3

During the midterm study sessions, he prevents Sudo Ken from physically attacking Horikita Suzune after their argument escalates. 5

When Horikita Manabu threatens Suzune, Ayanokoji catches Manabu’s attempted strike and later silently observes Hoshinomiya’s unusually fast defeat of the Student Council President. 6
