Bai Jin was furious.

That bastard of a man was simply inhuman!

Lu Chengze steadily caught the pillow thrown at him, his face full of amusement. "Why are you still angry? I told you, we're both men. There's no need to be embarrassed."

"Get out. Right now. Immediately!" Bai Jin's muffled voice came from beneath the blanket, forceful and leaving no room for refusal.

But to Lu Chengze, he looked like a tiny kitten trying to act fierce—obedient and adorable.

Lu Chengze raised a brow, thinking that the kid was probably genuinely angry.

As it happened, he had business to attend to as well. Lu Chengze set the pillow on the bed, bent down, and said to Bai Jin, who had buried his entire body beneath the blanket, "All right, no more teasing. I have to go out for something. Get some proper rest at home first."

After saying that, he remained half-crouched in place, waiting for Bai Jin's response.

Bai Jin's response was no response at all.

Lu Chengze shrugged, reached out to ruffle the kid's head through the blanket, then stood and left.

Only after the sound of Lu Chengze closing the door reached him did Bai Jin pull back the blanket.

At that moment, none of the shyness and innocence he had shown Lu Chengze remained on Bai Jin's face. He hurried to the window, concealed himself behind the curtains, and secretly watched Lu Chengze after he went downstairs.

Once he confirmed that the man had truly left the house, Bai Jin curled his lips slightly. He turned back to the bed and took a black, old-fashioned brick phone from the bottom drawer of the nightstand.

He turned it on.

As though timed precisely, the phone rang three seconds after it powered on.

Bai Jin answered. "Black Wolf, you'd better have a reason for calling!"

The environment on the other end was rather noisy. Besides the howling wind, there were also gunshots that came and went in the distance.

Black Wolf, however, did not care in the slightest. "Yo! What's going on? Why do you sound like you're sexually frustrated? Didn't you already seduce your man..."

"Shut up. Get to the point. If there's nothing else, I'm hanging up!" The corner of Bai Jin's mouth twitched almost imperceptibly.

"Why are you so hard to tease?" Black Wolf clicked his tongue twice. "Fine, fine, business. We just received the latest intel. A drug lord crossed the border and fled to A Country. We suspect he may be hiding in Xu City, and the boss wants you to keep an eye on things."

Hearing that, Bai Jin brought over the laptop he usually used for studying, turned it on, and switched from the normal desktop to a black webpage called War Wolf Base.

After entering his personal account, a new mission immediately popped up.

Sure enough, the mission assigned to him was to hunt down the drug lord.

"How many people are on their side?" Bai Jin asked Black Wolf over the phone.

Black Wolf seemed to have found a hidden place to take cover, as the howling wind could no longer be heard over the call. "The exact number is unknown, but there are definitely no fewer than three. Also, we previously found out that the person who helped him flee into A Country was from R Country. If you run into them, the boss said you can wipe them all out."

Bai Jin said, "Got it. Nothing else, right? Hanging up."

With that, he decisively cut off the call.

Meanwhile.

After leaving Bai Jin's home, Lu Chengze had barely stepped out of the residential community when he got into a black sedan that had just pulled up at the entrance.

Lu Jin said, "Fifth Master, we found out that the pursuit we encountered last night might not have been ordered by those people in the capital. It was likely the work of a group of drug lords who fled from the border to Xu City."

"The person who brought the drug lords to Xu City is from R Country. We're still tracking their exact location, but we should have the results within half an hour."

Lu Chengze took the documents Lu Jin handed over. Looking at the photos attached in the upper-right corner, he frowned. "Looks like I didn't beat that R Country Army colonel hard enough last time. It's only been two months, and he's already come back looking for another beating."

Lu Mu chuckled. "Fifth Master, that guy has come all the way to our A Country. This time, we can take the opportunity to give him a proper beating."

Lu Chengze closed the file. "Find his exact location first. End this quickly."

"Yes."

Twenty minutes later, Lu Jin's phone received a message alert. He opened it. "Fifth Master, we found them. Those guys reserved a luxury private room at Hokkaido Tian Japanese Restaurant for noon today."

"Mm. Let's go."

Outside Eight-Star Residential Community.

Dressed in casual clothes and carrying a black backpack, Bai Jin stood by the roadside and casually hailed a taxi. "Driver, Hokkaido Fields, please. Hurry."
