Hela remained unmoved as she watched the insane barrage of firepower. No one knew what she was thinking, but she showed nothing.

But as the Goddess of Death, the losses of the Death Legion meant nothing to her.

This army had originally been formed from dead Asgardians. Death was not the end for Asgardians, but a new beginning. Aside from gods who could enter Valhalla, all had to accept Hela's rule.

For Kryptonians, destroying high-tech warships was practically effortless. They only needed to charge straight through, piercing a vessel from end to end, and a battleship would be destroyed.

They soared through the skies and tunneled through the earth; lasers and freezing breath, there was nothing they could not do. They could not blow out a star in one breath, but Apokolips's technology was easily dealt with.

No wonder the Kryptonian Empire had once possessed such vast territory and so much advanced technology, only to eventually turn back, abandon technology, and focus on strengthening themselves instead.

Now, it seemed perfectly natural. No matter how far technology advanced, once Kryptonians absorbed enough solar radiation, they could shatter it with a single punch. What was the point of further development?
