Darkseid Returns

DeSaad and Granny Goodness had just finished packing and were preparing to have their guards escort them away. The guards were all locals of Apokolips, so naturally they would not go out and die like Parademons.

Parademons were limitless in number. No matter how many were sent to their deaths, DeSaad would not feel the slightest bit of regret.

But guards were different. Their numbers were limited, and once they were depleted, they would be difficult to replenish. Unlike Parademons, they could not simply capture slaves everywhere and transform them.

Parademons were nothing more than expendable tools, so it did not matter if every last one of them died.

But just as they were preparing to flee, Big Barda had already led people in surrounding them.

The moment Granny Goodness saw Big Barda leading people out, her eyes nearly bulged from their sockets. Those damned bastards actually dared betray Apokolips.
