The reason Mutants had suffered so badly was simply that there were too few of them. If half the people in the world were Mutants—or perhaps not even that many, just thirty or forty percent—then the world would belong to Mutants.

Just like the United States in reality, why had racial correctness become increasingly severe? Why had the Little Mermaid become the Black Mermaid? Why had Snow White become Black Snow White? To put it bluntly, it was because Black people reproduced too quickly, and their proportion of the population kept growing!

By 2020, Black people accounted for only twelve percent of the United States population. Back in 1950, Black people made up only
