Kang the Conqueror looked at the countless versions of himself that had suddenly appeared around him.
Every "himself" had their own thoughts but shared the same goal: getting out of here. Yet as long as they could not unite, they had no way to achieve it.
He was now trapped within possibilities. Every new possibility created another duplicate of him, causing his copies to multiply like dividing cells.
Yet Kang the Conqueror had no solution. He did not have a goal like Scott the Ant-Man did—Cassie.
He was selfish. His self-serving nature made it impossible for any of his possibilities to work together.
"I'm getting out there to destroy them!"
"I'm going to conquer them too! Destroy their universe and kill every one of those who resist me!"
"No, I'm the one getting out. Let me out!"
"Damn it, why isn't it me?"
Every one of his variants desperately wanted to be the "real" one.
That was precisely why he could not control these versions of himself, much less make them work together.
Selfish people only wanted to save themselves, not help others.
It made Kang the Conqueror want to go mad. These were only his possibilities, after all. He could just kill them.
But the moment he considered it, he knew he could never kill them all. One possibility had already tried that, and the result was even more splitting, making the scene increasingly chaotic.
It was like a Battleworld, with them slaughtering one another without restraint.
At that thought, Kang the Conqueror himself shouted, trying to take control of the situation.
"Everyone, stop!"
Yet no matter how loudly he shouted, no one listened to him.
"I'm the original."
"Bullshit, I am!"
"I'm the fucking original..."
Kang the Conqueror stared darkly at the possible versions of himself around him,
