After hearing Orochimaru's explanation of what Tobirama Senju had done following his resurrection—especially after learning of Nagato's death—Madara Uchiha's expression darkened. He turned and stared intently at Tobirama Senju, who was already prepared for battle.
"Madara! Don't take your anger out on Tobirama! He has already accepted your view on unifying the ninja world, and he has taken action for it!"

With a broad sweep of his arm, Hashirama Senju stepped in front of Madara Uchiha and shielded Tobirama Senju behind him.

Madara Uchiha's expression changed. The Eye of the Moon Plan was extremely secretive; only Obito and Zetsu knew of it throughout the entire ninja world. Even Nagato had not known the details.
