Seemingly endless white monsters were still crawling up from beneath the ground.

These white monsters were incredibly tenacious. Unless they were smashed to pieces, they might not even die.
Some of the variants could even spew poisonous mist, inflicting heavy losses on the Cloud ninja.
Could these monsters also be Konoha's doing? Of course. Other than Tobirama Senju, who else would dare attack Kumogakure? Damn it!
As he killed the monsters, A pondered the matter inwardly.
But as they spoke, a White Zetsu sneaked up behind A. With a strange cry, it pounced viciously at the Raikage.

The Jonin wearing an eyepatch remained in the posture of casting a ninjutsu as he called out to A in a low voice.
"Dodai, you came at the right time! Contact Darui and the others immediately. Tell them to bring people here for support at once!"
The Raikage let out a low roar.
Because they were about to go to war with Konoha, most of Kumogakure's ninja had been recalled to the village and organized into various units.
But fearing that Tobirama Senju might do to Kumogakure what he had done to Iwagakure—using the Flying Thunder God to enter the village directly and wipe them all out—A had divided the ninja army into four forces, positioning them at the four corners of the village.
