Looking at Obito's familiar yet unfamiliar face, Kakashi fired off three questions in a row.
A tear silently slid down his cheek.

A heart-rending roar came from beneath Kakashi's mask.
Even though Tobirama Senju had already made it clear that Uchiha Obito was still alive, Kakashi had initially refused to believe it.
But after entering this mysterious space through the Sharingan Obito had given him, he had no choice but to believe it, at least somewhat.
Yet when he truly saw Obito here, he still could not keep himself from losing control.
Obito—the innocent, kind boy who cherished his comrades and had made becoming Hokage his lifelong goal—how could he have done these things?!

Obito turned slightly, his deep, tranquil gaze meeting Kakashi's directly. There was no visible emotional fluctuation on his face.

Kakashi's eyes had already grown wet as he finally asked the question he had wanted to ask ever since learning the masked man's identity.
"Shut up, Kakashi!"

"This ninja world, cruel as hell itself, should have been remade long ago!!"
Uchiha Obito clutched his heart with both hands and let out a final roar—
"Look carefully! My heart has long since become hollow! I can no longer feel pain!"
"This hollow was carved out by this hellish world!"
"I have already abandoned everything! You must have learned of the illusionary world of the Infinite Tsukuyomi from Tobirama Senju, right?"
