Danzo's Death

Amid Danzo Shimura's shrill scream of pain,

Tobirama Senju dug out the bloody eyeball with two fingers, leaving Danzo's eye socket hollow.

Danzo lay on the ground with all four limbs severed, blood still seeping from his eye socket, making him look utterly miserable.

Even the two Special Jonin, accustomed as they were to bloody scenes, could not help but shudder at the sight.

This Second Hokage's methods were a little too swift and ruthless.

Danzo, having lost his right eye, continued to wail. The loss of one eye had already blurred his vision, leaving him unable to see what was before him clearly.

As Tobirama Senju's words fell, his right hand formed a palm and viciously thrust toward Danzo's heart.

"Hokage-sama! What happened here?"

Konoha's security forces arrived late, while the remaining Root shinobi had also been knocked down one by one by Tobirama Senju.

"Konoha's Hokage advisor, Shimura Danzō, attempted rebellion and has been personally executed by me."

Their exchange still seemed as vivid as ever, but sadly, he was no longer the Hokage.

"Homura, Koharu, Danzo wanted to resist Sensei. His death is no great loss. I, Hiruzen Sarutobi, have nothing to say. At this point, I no longer hold any resentment. Sensei was right."

"During my years as Hokage, I truly made countless mistakes. I also turned a blind eye to Danzo's vile deeds, indulging him again and again. Sensei wants me to step down. I, Hiruzen Sarutobi, am willing."

"As for you two old friends, why cling so tightly to power? We're already this old. Opportunities should be given to the younger generation. Don't worry."

Hiruzen Sarutobi's earnest words made Utatane Koharu and Mitokado Homura widen their eyes.

They could not believe that this old monkey had truly changed his mind.

"I won't tell Sensei about what you and Danzo did, but that does not mean Sensei will not find out. Take care of yourselves."
