The ANBU ninja knelt on one knee before Tobirama Senju. After delivering his report, he fell silent and waited for the Hokage's decision.

"The Elder Council? Mitokado and Koharu..."

Tobirama Senju lowered his head in thought. Neither of them, nor even Hiruzen Sarutobi, had attended his Hokage inauguration. Did they object to his killing Danzo?

He looked up at the ANBU ninja and said, "Bring them here."

Before Mitokado Homura could finish buttering him up, Tobirama Senju cut him off mercilessly.

"Enough!" Tobirama Senju slammed his palm onto the desk.

Tobirama Senju sneered. After rambling on for so long, this old fool had come to whitewash Shimura Danzō while trying to reclaim Danzo's former position.

Yet he feared Tobirama Senju's strength and did not dare say it outright. He was not even as good as Danzo; at least that man had dared to make a move against him.
