Manus:???
Watching McGonagall somehow grow excited, Manus was a little bewildered.
"I knew it..."
Seeing that this senior student had revealed her true nature after only putting on a slight act, Flitwick muttered to himself.
But after looking at Manus, who still did not quite understand what had happened, the subtle displeasure in Flitwick's heart was immediately washed away by the wonderful feeling brought by their difference in awareness.
"Though she's a professor, she's still a Gryffindor, isn't she?"
Flitwick said to Manus with a smile:
"When she worked at the Ministry of Magic, even though she held a desk job, her methods were anything but refined."
Manus was surprised that McGonagall had such a side to her, but McGonagall ahead was already nearing the corner, so he quickened his pace and followed.
Ah, right, Flitwick...
Manus did not look back. He merely judged Flitwick's speed from the footsteps behind him, figuring that he had probably already started running.
Should I help him out... Forget it. That would only embarrass him more, wouldn't it?
Still, wasn't it a little too rash to head over just like this?
Manus looked at McGonagall ahead, who showed no sign of making any preparations before starting the fight. But thinking carefully, there really seemed to be very few spells in this world that could provide buffs.
Even the Iron Armor Charm had to be cast when needed. It could not be applied beforehand to create lasting protection, while a sustained protective spell like Piertotum Locomotor could not move along with its caster.
Forget it. He would take another route and use other means to tip the scales of battle ever so slightly.
Outside "Kreigs's" window, Huginn transformed into an owl. Its beak then suddenly opened wider than any bird's possibly could—and spat out a
