Wearing the Invisibility Cloak, Potter arrived at the door to the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor's office and used an Unlocking Charm to open the office, which had merely been locked with a key.

"Professor Kreigs had shown so many suspicious signs before. There had to be something wrong with him. Now he had suddenly taken leave—there was definitely some hidden reason!"

Potter muttered his analysis, then complained indignantly:

"It was understandable that Remus couldn't come these past few days because of his special circumstances, but Sirius and Peter refused to come too! They even used not knowing the Disillusionment Charm as an excuse... They could have just hidden under the cloak with me. They clearly just didn't trust me!"

Muninn tilted its head speechlessly behind him. It was broad daylight. Although hardly anyone usually came to the third floor, there was no guarantee that no one would hear them.
