He had originally only wanted to give the Ravenclaw Team a greater advantage over the other teams, but now it seemed... well, never mind. With Ravenclaw Team gaining such a huge advantage, someone else would be the one with a headache.

With that thought, Manus looked at Flitwick, who was eagerly imagining Ravenclaw Team sweeping through the competition in the future.

"Professor Flitwick, how is Senior Pante doing in the Koldovstoretz competition?"

The Inter-School Wizard's Chess Championship was not something that could be settled in just one or two matches. Six magical schools from Europe, America, and Asia participated, and each player could only play one match per day. The format was three simultaneous one-on-one matches on the first day, directly eliminating three players. The remaining three would then play a round robin to determine the champion, runner-up, and third place.

In other words, the competition lasted four days in total, and was held at the magical school of the previous champion.

This format certainly could not be called absolutely fair. Even someone with the strength to take second place might draw the strongest opponent in the first round and be eliminated immediately.

However, only first place carried enough prestige in this competition. The champion received a trophy, medal, prize money, and certificate, while the runner-up and third-place finisher only received certificates. And the champion would not be mistakenly eliminated under this format.

Therefore, the format had not changed at all
