Manus had always known that his development of the Mental World was actually quite limited. Everything he currently did with the Mental World was built upon the achievements of other magical systems.

For example, carving out an independent region from the complete Mental World was based on the use and control of the mind and spiritual will within his original magical system.

The complete Mental World was jointly constructed by the mental activities of all sentient life. Manus merely separated his own mind from it, and only because his spiritual realm had undergone transformation was he capable of such an operation.

Likewise, using the Mental World to manifest things he had once possessed was based on Manus continuously strengthening his own Life Essence through Soul Magic.

The ability to produce souls, the soul's trait of connecting matter, spirit, and energy, and his control over souls combined to allow Manus to dredge his Mage Tower out of his memories and bring it into reality.

Even without the Mental World, Manus could still do this. It was just that the Mage Tower could only be established in the Material World then.

As for exploring and excavating the Mental World itself... Manus had plans for it, but honestly, this subject was not high on his list of priorities. There was still far too much else for him to uncover.
