Flitwick had been quite pleased to see Manus. He had only finalized how to train Manus last night, and today, he happened to run into him when there was no Charms class.

After thinking it over, Flitwick still chose not to go himself. It was neither a major nor a trivial matter, but they had not been acquainted before. If he went over specially only to run out of things to say after two sentences, it would just be more awkward.
"After that... if you have time before dinner today, remember to come by my office."
