Manus's eyes flickered.
As punishments brought about by the fairy-tale inclination, they probably would not be indiscriminate between good and evil. That meant he did not need to worry about the sun exploding or some natural catastrophe capable of triggering another mass extinction.
There were very, very few forces that could truly kill Manus. Ordinary injuries no longer meant much to him; at most, he would lose a small portion of his soul.
Of course, Manus was only entertaining the thought. He had no intention of letting himself loose and acting recklessly.
On one hand, the most powerful forces in this world were still conceptual things, especially "Love" in the Ministry of Magic's Department of Mysteries. How powerful would it become after receiving every special multiplier in this world?
On the other hand, Manus had always adhered to morality, enjoyed helping others, and treated people kindly... not because he feared those so-called punishments. This world was not so petty, or how would ordinary people survive?
Manus did so for the gains he could obtain by becoming the protagonist—rewards commensurate with the risks.
Up to now, although he did not know which of his gains had come from his persistent good deeds, Manus was still quite satisfied with what he had obtained.
It would have been even better if things related to all sorts of myths did not keep clinging to him.
Come to think of it...
There were two troublesome aspects to the identity of Odin. First, he might lose an eye at some point. Second, there was the Ragnarok that all of Norse mythology could not escape.
Losing an eye was not a major issue. Manus
