"Cough, cough. About optimizing your schedule... how exactly were you planning to arrange your extracurricular time?"

Manus did not suspect anything. After all, Flitwick and the others had only just applied to exempt him from homework so he could make time for the school's various competitions. It was perfectly normal for them to ask about his upcoming schedule.

It was like how the Board of Governors would ask how newly requested funding was going to be used.

"Well, it's like this..."

Manus first laid out his timetable after dropping Arithmancy, then added his existing fixed commitments, such as his dueling training with Flitwick.

None of those could be changed. At most, the timing or duration of Flitwick's dueling training could be adjusted.

"No, no, the current dueling training schedule is quite good."

Flitwick interrupted Manus before he could continue.

He already felt that the training sessions might have been scheduled too long and too frequently. He was even a little afraid that Manus would soon drain him dry of all his dueling knowledge.

Meanwhile, Manus assumed that Flitwick probably could not rearrange his schedule, which was perfectly understandable.

So he continued explaining his schedule. Next came activities whose times could not be changed but were relatively flexible, allowing for reasonable absences, such as the Slug Club and the Transfiguration Club.

Everything left was fairly flexible, including but not limited to self-study, review, recreation, and rest.

"So now I have a large amount of flexible time that can be assigned to preparing for school competitions. The Wizard's Chess guidance we discussed earlier can begin at any time. Besides that, if the school is preparing for the Magical Schools Potions Championship, I can help with that as well."

"Hm? How did you know about the Potions Championship?"

Flitwick was somewhat surprised. Could
