After class, Manus had originally planned to use the remaining time to continue refining the prerequisite spells for Legendary Magic.

Now that he had found inspiration, the progress that had been stalled could advance by a great deal. It was an incredibly satisfying feeling.

However, as he passed through the common room, Barty Jr. handed him a sheet of parchment.

"Finished already?"

Manus was somewhat surprised, because the paper was exceptionally complete. By the usual standards of British Oak Wand, it scarcely needed any revisions at all.

He merely needed to make certain parts of the argument more detailed.

"I had already worked out most of the other half in my head before. I just needed to finish the part you mentioned."

After speaking, Barty Jr. looked at Manus expectantly. He did not know what exactly he was hoping for, but...

"You can have more confidence in yourself. Last time, you could have shown me the complete paper... You did an excellent job. You understood what I said very thoroughly and even went a step further."

At the end of the paper, Manus saw an unfinished implication: extending the similarities, differences, and complementary nature of the Knockback Jinx and Banishing Charm to other Charms.

However, that direction was far too broad. The length did not permit further exploration, and Barty Jr.'s accumulated knowledge did not support extending the issue too far, so he had merely mentioned it briefly at the end of the paper.

"Here, and here... You cannot assume that everyone reading the paper is as intelligent as you, or has such an in-depth understanding of these matters. None of the details in these arguments can be omitted."

Manus waved his wand and marked several places, using the kind of marks that could be erased afterward with Finite.
