Looking at Paris's somewhat bewildered expression, Manus lifted his milk and took a sip.
It seemed he had overestimated how widespread that spell was in the Wizarding World.
Thinking about it carefully, aside from what was taught in class, few wizards studied magic beyond that. And even if they wanted to, they needed the resources to learn it.
Without the relevant resources, a wizard first had to clear the hurdle of even knowing that a spell existed before they could learn it.
The Trelawney family of Seers apparently had no inheritance related to the Fidelius Charm. To Manus, that was counterintuitive, but on second thought, it did seem possible.
"Were there really people in this world who could see the future yet didn't use it to accumulate knowledge and wealth...?"
Manus muttered something in his heart that was little different from What the hell?, while explaining to Paris what the Fidelius Charm was.

Paris's pupils contracted. He shook his head, already knowing why his family had no records of this spell.
"Better not. For a Seer, it would limit the power of the Third Eye, whether one served as the Secret-Keeper or stayed in a place protected by the Fidelius Charm."
The Third Eye worked by capturing information from the future in ways even wizards themselves did not understand and feeding it back to them. Whether a secret was hidden within one's own soul or one became a secret hidden within another soul, it would interfere with that process.
Manus frowned slightly. He did not think such a conclusion could be stated so certainly. According to his research, the Third Eye should have obtained information through the Spirit Realm, that repository of information.
