"By the way... doesn't this organization have a name?"
Ignis rather awkwardly moved on from their previous topic. The lingering dread still refused to fade.
After Manus's explanation, brief though it had been, he had realized that if Manus had harbored any ill intentions earlier, he would have already sold his soul.
"A name? Right now, the organization is just a study group... does that sort of thing really matter?"
As far as Manus knew, an organization's official name was not actually all that important to wizards.
Although the currently active Death Eaters and Order of the Phoenix both had names, wizards did not really have such a tradition. Take Gellert Grindelwald's Movement, for example, which had swept across the world in its day.
That name had been attached to them by later commentators, borrowing from a certain notorious organization active in the Muggle world during the same period.
Back then, the Ministry of Magic had called them The Greater Good, which was the name they now used internally. Their own name at the time had simply been Alliance-an alliance, followers, meaning nothing more complicated than "people who followed Grindelwald."

Manus therefore felt that a simple label like "the organization" was sufficient for everyday use. There was no need to devise a special name that might be interpreted as carrying some irrelevant meaning.
"A study group that already spans all four houses and six years, with more than fifty members? Even if that's really all it is, surely a
