Cynthia leaned over to look across from her and found Garchomp sitting at a computer, pressing a strangely shaped mouse and keyboard with his claws. He seemed focused on something.
She raised her eyebrows in surprise.
Of course she knew her own Garchomp's personality... He really wasn't the type to take an interest in games.
So even after learning that even Gengar could use the computers at the owner's Internet Café, she had never brought it up to Garchomp.
Yet now Garchomp looked completely absorbed. Even his expression looked exactly the same as it did on the rare occasions when a battle grew tense...
Was he playing Pokémon Emerald?
Could he really take... Pokémon Emerald this seriously?
After a brief moment of thought, Cynthia made her decision.
Since Garchomp was interested, she would let him play for now.
As for that battle just now, she would discuss it after ending her stream.
She turned her attention back to her screen, where the livestream chat was already flying by.
[Where are you looking, streamer? Don't tell me you're looking at that coworker across from you playing your Garchomp?]
[Hahaha, just imagining some six-foot-one dude sitting across from her in a motion capture suit acting out Garchomp makes me laugh.]
[Your Garchomp looks a little better at games than you are. Any thoughts on that?]
Motion capture... equipment?
Another new term she didn't understand.
But after a pause, she simply skipped over the question.
It wasn't as though this was the first day the chat had refused to believe she really was Sinnoh's Champion. If they refused to believe that was her Garchomp streaming, there was nothing she could do. She would let them think what they wanted.
By now, Pokémon Emerald had successfully launched on her screen and loaded her save.
