Roger had never expected Delin the Archmage's affairs to involve the Tulip Kingdom, much less that the Tulip Kingdom might be connected to that previous signal...
Were outside forces already infiltrating them?
It did not seem impossible.
"Once the mech is finished, we'll go take a look."
After considering it for a moment, Roger glanced at the mech, which was already 80% complete. "A few more days won't make a difference."
This mech was certainly inferior to the incredibly powerful mech condensed through his authority, but its successful creation would indeed bring about a qualitative transformation in his authority.
The mechs created through his authority's summons were not immutable. As Roger grew stronger, as his faith increased, and as everything managed under his authority improved, the mechs he summoned would be further enhanced.
For instance, after the Tech Combat Force began using exoskeletons, the mechs he summoned were directly strengthened by 30%. That alone explained a great deal.
The Magic Goddess considered it, then nodded slightly.
Indeed!
If there had been a problem, there would have been one three thousand years ago. It would not have waited until now.
Judging by how cautious that black-robed man had been, they probably still had many important matters to complete at this stage. They had plenty of time—sharpening the axe would not delay the chopping of wood!
Having settled on the next course of action, they no longer hesitated and continued strengthening the mech.
In truth, there was another reason they had made this choice. If a world-scale war truly broke out, mass deployment of mechs, combined with the first-stage magic guidance control of the Technological War Divine Arts, could rapidly develop a respectable combat legion. It could even be said that they could arm the entire continent.
That could be enormously beneficial
