"My authority... is a little strange." Roger rubbed his forehead. "More precisely, I keep feeling that some of my divine offices shouldn't belong to me."
At the moment he became a god, he could easily sense the authorities that belonged to him.
Yet he kept feeling that something was wrong with those authorities.
Betty was just about to press him for details when a figure suddenly appeared before Roger and the others. "Because the War God tried to corrupt you through this war, but you ended up corrupting them instead."
Everyone immediately turned toward the sudden arrival. Gorgeous violet hair, deep dark-purple eyes, fair skin, and a stunning figure... It was none other than the Magic Goddess!
"Where is the War God, then?"
"After having part of their authority stolen by you, they retreated in defeat." The Magic Goddess spoke coolly, as though driving back the War God was nothing worth mentioning.
Roger did not dwell on it. Instead, he looked rather surprised. "You mean the War God tried to corrupt me, but I corrupted them instead and seized their authority?"
"You should have already gained an authority related to war, right?"
"I'm not sure." Roger pondered briefly. "I have an authority called 'Magitech Dominion.' It allows me to command all magitech equipment in the world. For example, I can freely direct the rays fired from a Ray Gun—they'll hit wherever I point."
He could even command rays that had already been fired?!
Betty and the book instantly wore expressions... and glimmers of utter disbelief. Betty was so shocked that her head nearly fell off.
What was the difference between that and bullets that could curve?
Oh, no, this could automatically lock onto targets!
What kind of joke was that?
Not even a Legendary Mage could do something like that!
