As soon as he finished speaking, Ren asked, "What about Madara and Qing Zhi?"
Hogue said, "Lord Madara and Lord Qing Zhi have been following the Black Dragon's trail. But the Black Dragon keeps searching for something and hasn't paid them any attention. He's furious now, though. It looks like they really are about to fight him!"
Ren's eyes flickered as he considered this.
Just then, Morgana and Ulu walked in, utterly unconcerned that they were inside the Magic Council.
Layla, still delighted with the keys in her hands, stared at them in a daze. "Uh... you two just caused an uproar at the Magic Council, and now you've come right back?"
Layla truly didn't know what to say. Ever since she joined the Dimensional Guild, her whole life had been turned upside down. Things she would never have imagined kept happening. She was starting to wonder whether she had lived in a different world before.
Morgana merely smiled at Layla's surprise. Ulu laughed heartily, patted Layla on the shoulder, and said, "So what if we caused an uproar here? We're not afraid!"
She was tough as nails, and genuinely happy. She had finally vented years of pent-up resentment and avenged her daughter.
While Ulu celebrated, Morgana knew what had just happened through her understanding of Ren and their linked souls. She asked, "Master... are you worried about Qing Zhi and Madara Uchiha?"
Ren shook his head. "No. I'm not worried about them facing the Black Dragon. Even if they can't beat him, they won't die. And when I received word about the Black Dragon, I sent over that fellow who'd just woken up. With the three of them there, nothing will go wrong.
