Madara Uchiha took the information Ren handed him, narrowing his eyes as he said silently, "I'll do my best. After all, taking them alive doesn't suit me!"
Ren did not mind. In truth, this mission would have been best handled by Hashirama and Madara together. Hashirama's Wood Magic was best for suppressing herds of Magical Beasts, and it was also quite effective against Devils. Unfortunately, Hashirama was gradually becoming too kind-hearted. Though he had killed plenty, it was difficult to make him slaughter without restraint.
Of course, Ren's lack of manpower was also one reason.
Ren looked at Hashirama and said, "Hashirama... though it may be beneath your talents, this mission suits you best. I need a forest that stretches across the border. Between the Northern Continent and the inland lies a wasteland. I need that wasteland turned into a forest!"
Hashirama did not think much of it and said directly, "Creating forests is what I'm good at! Though I still haven't figured out the magic system, making a forest is more than easy enough!"
Ren chuckled softly, naturally believing Hashirama's words. After all, in the Naruto World, the forests outside Konoha had basically all been created by Hashirama.
Of course, that was not all Hashirama needed to do!
Ren continued, "After the forest comes construction. The Northern Continent has too few people, and completing the buildings and cities will take a great deal of time. So once the forest is finished, go handle the infrastructure!"
Ren smiled faintly after saying that. Madara Uchiha and Qing Zhi did the same. After all, the thought of a powerhouse like Hashirama running off to build cities was rather amusing.
Hashirama merely gave a foolish grin and did not mind. "Safety won't be a problem! One spell of my Wood Magic will take
