There was joy in Yunxiao's voice, as though she were celebrating his achievement as her own.

Qiongxiao gave a haughty snort. "Hmph... at least you know that much!"
Ren knew how proud Qiongxiao was and simply ignored her remark. Yunxiao shook her head faintly, gave him an apologetic look, then pulled Qiongxiao aside to speak quietly.
Ren paid it no mind. He looked at Nezha and asked, "Where are my master and Uncle Yun Zhongzi?"
He glanced around but saw neither Yuding nor Yun Zhongzi. Green Bull and Four-Unlike were nowhere in sight either.
Lei Zhenzi shrugged. "My master and the others are outside chasing the Chaos Water Phoenix. That creature has drawn the attention of the entire Primordial World! Things are chaotic right now, but most people aren't fighting. They're all chasing it instead!"
"So one Chaos Water Phoenix has brought some calm to the chaotic Primordial World. Interesting. But this peace won't last long, and it'll probably lead to even greater chaos." Ren shook his head.
