Rayleigh clenched his right fist and roared, "Kalpo... you're a fucking bastard! You know what happened between Rouge and Roger. You know what you did back then, too. Now Roger's dead, Rouge is dead—what more do you want?"

Rayleigh was furious, as though the past had come rushing back. Only a handful of people probably knew that story, but something messy had clearly happened among them.

A bloodthirsty glint flashed in Kalpo's eyes as he glared at Rayleigh. "Shut up. If Roger had settled down and taken good care of Rouge, that would've been one thing. But that bastard left her behind to turn himself in, and he didn't even reveal where she was. In the end, Rouge died! If that irresponsible bastard were still alive, I'd kill him myself."

With that, he walked straight out of the bar.

But outside, Kalpo spotted a young man dressed in casual clothes.

"I found what you just said very interesting," the young man said. "Your plans interest me, too. How about coming back inside for a drink so we can talk about revenge?"

Kalpo's gaze sharpened. "You... Ren, the Emperor of the New World. I'll settle my own affairs!"

He strode off without giving Ren another glance.

Ren shook his head. "Heh... I came out for a vacation and stumbled onto something this big. Interesting. Sounds like there was plenty of drama aboard the Roger Pirate Ship."

He walked into the bar and found Rayleigh still seething, while Shakky sat in silence.

Rayleigh looked at Ren. "You've only just become an Emperor of the New World, and you're already here at the Sabaody Archipelago. You've got nerve."

Ren sat down. "What can I say? The New World got too boring, so I came out to have some fun. Red-Hair told me where
