Chapter 610: The Battle Begins

"Moria... don't even think about running. Stay put!"

Ren glanced at Moria and smiled.

Moria gritted his teeth, furious enough to burst. The Marines had summoned him to the battlefield on Por Island to help capture pirates. Kalpo and Golden Lion were for the Celestial Dragons to deal with, but the other pirates were the Marines' responsibility. Short on manpower and eager to promote the Shichibukai, the Marines had called Moria and the others in.

After receiving the summons, Moria had gone to a lonely island near Por Island. Unfortunately, Ren had his Vivre Card and found him at once. Without a word, Ren beat him senseless, then dragged him here.

Moria was livid. "Bastard! What do you want? Why did you capture me?"

He glared at Ren.

Ren did not answer. He simply threw Moria into the cabin. "Revive this man."

Moria saw a block of ice inside the cabin, with a man sealed within it. The man wore red, and his weathered beard was a mess. Moria's eyes widened. "Impossible... It's him! How did you get his body?"

He stared at Ren in disbelief. Ren sat down and said, "Moria, your Shadow-Shadow Fruit can revive zombies, can't it? They can only use the shadow's techniques afterward, but the revived person should retain some trace of his own will. I've prepared a shadow. Revive Roger."

The frozen corpse before him was indeed Roger's. Kalpo had stolen and hidden it, but Ren had sent Ryder to find it.

Kalpo had not hidden Roger's body far away, only somewhere on the Grand Line. With Ryder's ability to fly as a vampire, he had brought it back quickly.

Moria stared at the corpse, stunned and greedy. "It really is Roger's body. Revive Roger..."

His greedy gaze clung
