Ren's eyes widened, and the corner of his mouth twitched. "Damn... After all that, the Pluton Remains were hidden in Alabasta!"

Ren was floored—and embarrassed. Plenty of people knew Alabasta. After all, it was where Luffy encountered his first major enemy and defeated Crocodile. Ren had been there himself. He had even stolen the Poneglyph recording Pluton from Alabasta's royal family! Yet it had never occurred to him that the Pluton Remains were hidden there.

Ren turned to Bing Jieke. "What's happening in Alabasta?"

Bing Jieke stepped forward. "Captain... Things in Alabasta seem normal. Luffy and Crocodile are fighting, but their clashes have been small-scale and haven't caused much damage! Our intelligence network did uncover something unusual, though. Three extremely powerful people are secretly guarding the Nefertari Royal Family. Any one of them could easily take down Crocodile, but none has ever stepped in. They've let him run rampant! They even watched the Nefertari princess be forced to leave her country without lifting a finger!"

Ren tapped the table with his index finger. "Well, well... There's definitely something strange about the Alabasta Kingdom!"

Oden continued, "Lord Ren... The treasure hidden on Laugh Tale consists entirely of things left behind by Humanoid Pluton. But when we landed there, Roger made the rest of us stay on the outskirts and went into the interior alone. So we don't know exactly what Humanoid Pluton left behind!

"From records and writings I found on the outskirts, though, I learned that Humanoid Pluton spent the last few
