"It's Kuina!" Robin said, handing the Den Den Mushi to Ren.
Ren took it. "Kuina... didn't you head for the East Blue? By my reckoning, you should have just arrived."
Only a few days had passed since Kuina set out for the East Blue. Even with the speed of Ren's warships, she could only just have reached it.
"Yeah, I've arrived," Kuina said. "But something feels different here. Not long after I entered the East Blue, I saw quite a few powerful pirates. Many were traveling alone, and none of them were young. From the presence they gave off, a lot of them were skilled in Haki. They could hold their own in the New World, yet they've all gathered in the East Blue. At first, I thought they'd come to hunt Ace. But my father told me the people after Ace arrived here long ago. So I don't know what to make of these new arrivals."
Kuina's confusion was plain.
Ren frowned. "The East Blue, the weakest of the Four Blues? Why have so many powerful people turned up there? What are they after?"
Ren found it strange too. He had barely paid attention to intelligence from the East Blue lately.
After a moment's silence, Ren said, "Be careful, Kuina. Once you've picked up Tashigi, leave the East Blue as quickly as you can. With World Government agents gathering there alongside these unknown fighters, something big is bound to happen."
Kuina nodded. "I know. I'll head to Loguetown now and bring Tashigi back as soon as possible."
Kuina ended the call, and Ren put down the Den Den Mushi.
