Ren appeared without warning. The Japanese samurai spotted him and immediately cursed, "Damn you! You killed my master, locked me up, and even used my power! I'll kill you!"
But the moment he shouted, the Hollow glared at him with such savage intensity that it looked ready to kill him.
The Japanese samurai shut his mouth, fear creeping into his eyes.
Then the masked man appeared. He looked at the samurai and said flatly, "Quiet down. If you weren't the first Zanpakuto we locked up, I would've devoured you long ago. When it comes to wielding Thunder, you're nowhere close."
With a casual wave of the masked man's hand, the cage and the Japanese samurai vanished.
Ren took in the scene, then turned to the masked man. "What's going on? How did a Hollow suddenly appear in my Zanpakuto Space?"
The black-masked Hollow answered with a sneer. "Tsk, tsk. You don't even know who I am? You really need to get smarter. It's embarrassing."
Ren bristled at the Hollow's words and glared at him. "Hell, you're asking for a beating."
"Tsk, tsk. So are you! Your face annoys me. Want me to hit you with a Cero and mess it up?" the masked Hollow shot back.
Ren grew angrier still. Come to think of it, both the masked man and this masked Hollow in his Zanpakuto Space were infuriating.
The masked man sighed and pressed a hand to his forehead. "I knew he'd be like this once his seal broke."
That only left Ren more confused. "Hey, what exactly is this thing? Where did he come from? I was planning to use the Hōgyoku for Hollowfication later. Why is it happening now?"
The masked Hollow gave him a scornful look. "Are you an idiot? You were going to wait and
