Gray felt the cold and that familiar presence. He murmured, "Ulu... you..."
Before he could finish, he felt a fist land on his head!
Ulu rapped Gray on the head with her fist, then roared, "Call me Teacher! And you've got some nerve, coming here to fight Deliora on your own!"

Gray felt the pain in his head, but smelling that familiar scent, he did not know what to say. He was simply overwhelmed with emotion!
Ulu stared fixedly at Gray. She looked furious, yet beneath that anger was relief! Relief that Gray had not been killed, or she would have blamed herself even more!
Still, Ulu really wanted to teach Gray a proper lesson. He had been far too reckless! Acting so recklessly, he would not survive long in this world!
But when she saw the hurt look in Gray's eyes, Ulu's heart softened!
With a soft sigh, Ulu merely patted Gray on the head!
That sight moved Gray even more!
Yet while Gray was touched, Ultear, inside a distant castle, gritted her teeth and clenched her fists, hatred flashing in her eyes. "Bastard, bastard..."
Kayle looked at Ultear with amusement and a faint smile. As expected, a child's heart changes far too easily!
After learning of Ulu's whereabouts, Ultear had felt a yearning in her heart! Although she had suffered terrible blows in the past, she still longed for her mother!
