Wushi battled Flame Dipper Demon Venerable while Taiyi, Dijun, Zhu Jiuyin, and Emperor Zun fought over the Celestial Dipper Origin. After Flame Dipper destroyed three Heavenly Dipper Layers, Ren began refining the recovered Origin amid a series of clashes, leaving the Primordial World on the brink of a wider conflict.

• Wushi overcame Flame Dipper Demon Venerable, but Dijun intervened with the Demon Emperor Sword, and Flame Dipper ultimately detonated his Origin, destroying three Heavenly Dipper Layers.
• Wushi survived the explosion behind the Emperor Bell and Chaos Bell as fragments of the shattered layers fell across the Primordial World and Ren vowed to collect Taiyi’s debt.
• Ren traveled to the battlefield with Ye Fan, the Immortal Heavenly Emperor, and Duan De, then took the recovered Origin from Wushi and refined it.
• Zhu Jiuyin gave Ren thirty percent of the Origin while Duan De fought Taiyi and Emperor Zun fought Dijun to protect him.
• The Shadow Fiend explained that the Heavenly Dipper Layers were letting Ren refine their Origin in hopes that he would save them and gain their loyalty.
• Xihe, the Immortal Heavenly Emperor, and others joined the battles around Ren as Taiyi and Dijun continued trying to reach him.

Ren helped Ruthless defeat Dijun, then repaired the shattered Heavenly Dipper Layers at great cost to his own Divine Soul. After reaching Quasi-Saint Peak, he entered Eternal Life World to seek new cultivation methods and encountered Linglong Immortal Venerable.

• Dijun and Ruthless fought a fierce duel, and their final clash shattered Ruthless’s Great Dao Treasure Vase and Dijun’s Shen Ni Phantom while injuring both of them.
• Ren halted the collapsing Heavenly Dipper, gathered its fragments and Qi, and repaired the damaged layers by forming and strengthening a thirty-six-layer Heavenly Dipper Tower.
• Ren explained that he had used his Divine Soul to gain control of the Heavenly Dipper Will, then restored the fourth layer and rebuilt the three destroyed layers by drawing strength from the intact ones.

Ren uncovered the Gate of Eternal Life’s role in destroying eras, recruited Fang Han, and fought Creation Immortal King. The battle revealed the Gate’s location and exposed how Creation Immortal King had unknowingly helped it.

• Ren studied Linglong Immortal Venerable’s cultivation system, gave her a Golden Lotus, and persuaded her to begin learning the Shrouding cultivation system.
• Ren investigated Hua Tiandu and discovered the Tumor within his soul, then learned from the Firmament Ledger how it had formed from destroyed eras and corroded the Gate of Eternal Life.
• Ren removed the Tumor from Hua Tiandu, restored his soul, and found Fang Han, whom he took as a disciple and taught the Great Dao Fist.
• Ren gave Fang Han the restored Yellow Springs Diagram, while Bai Haichan’s sealed identity as an incarnation of Creation Immortal King was revealed.

• Ren entered the Gate of Eternal Life and watched the Creation Immortal King restore his Dao Heart and join the Mythical Elder against the other Immortal Kings.
• The Creation Immortal King devoured the Immortal Kings, while Ren restrained him to save Haoran and then recruited the Lord of Vast Righteousness to spread the Literary Path.
