Background / History

Bibi Dong’s former teacher, Qian Xunji, sexually assaulted her to prevent her from leaving Spirit Hall and threatened Yu Xiaogang, the man she loved. Forced to remain, she developed a lasting hatred of Qian Xunji and the Angel Family. She later killed Qian Xunji, an act she connects to her Rakshasa Divine Trial 177 182.

Qian Renxue was born from that assault. Bibi Dong refused to kill her daughter, but associated her with the Qian Family and treated her with emotional distance. Qian Daoliu knew both how his son had died and what he had done to Bibi Dong; he nevertheless supported her rise to Pope because he valued her talent and Spirit Hall’s future 181 182.
