Forbidden Seal?
What the hell was that?
Hearing this utterly unfamiliar term, John's mind filled with question marks.
But considering the curiosity Krauser was showing right now, along with the fragments of intelligence John had previously pieced together, he immediately understood that this was probably connected to the memories he had lost at the Imperial First Military Academy.
And since it involved the word "forbidden," the confidentiality clearance for this matter was clearly extremely high.
If he wanted to obtain information from Krauser, he had to remain silent about it, or at least put on an attitude of refusing to discuss it.
After rapidly thinking things over and roughly sorting out his thoughts, John calmly said:
"I don't know what you're talking about."
"Senior John, that's no fun. As the person who caused this incident, how could you possibly know nothing about it?"
Seeing John's tight-lipped appearance, disappointment flashed through Krauser's eyes.
Naturally, he had no way of knowing that John was completely unaware of the matter due to his lost memories.
But when he thought of how, aside from those involved and Principal Tolovsky, no one else knew anything about it, turning it into an urban legend within the academy—
—and how the key person behind the incident was sitting right in front of him, yet he still could not obtain any crucial clues—
His intense thirst for knowledge immediately made Krauser feel as though a kitten were constantly scratching at his chest with its paws. He became so restless that he could barely sit still.
Yet seeing John pretend to know nothing, then sit there motionlessly like a puppet after speaking—
Krauser immediately understood that if he wanted to get information out of him, he could only use the scraps of evidence he had uncovered to guide him.
