Taking advantage of a temporary lull in the mountain blizzard, Roderick and Albert swiftly left the Stormpike Guard's main camp in Alterac under the Dwarves' guidance.

If another long-lasting Blizzard struck, neither of them would be able to leave by the mountain road. Fortunately, the unbroken days of snow and wind had finally eased for a few days, making this the best time to return to Southshore.

A thin layer of ice had formed over the narrow path, and the slick mountain road was even harder to traverse on the way down. Still, such difficulties could not hinder a high-ranking paladin and a Dalaran mage.

Albert chose to return directly to Southshore, while Roderick needed to remain in Watchtower Village for another day. The territory under their control grew larger by the day, and its population was increasing as well. Naturally, all kinds of affairs became more troublesome.
