Trust and Distrust
The two of them had clearly kicked in quite a few doors already. They might even have searched half of Mock Town, but after a year and a half of development, Mock Town had become a thriving metropolis. Such prosperous cities were rare across the entire sea, and that was precisely why it was so difficult to find a place with anyone inside, even after kicking down doors across half the city.
They had apparently found this place because the commotion caused by Leo and the others arriving not long ago had drawn them over.
Leo knew them: Big Eater Bonney and Marine Defector X Drake. These two had not had much presence in the original story, yet played quite significant roles in the latter half.
Bonney seemed to have some connection to Kuma and appeared to be from the Sorbet Kingdom.
X Drake, meanwhile, looked more like a double agent. After defecting from the Marines, he had repeatedly gone undercover under the Four Emperors and passed intelligence back to the Marines.
But his epithet was rather interesting.
Red flag.
A flag of a completely different color from the Marines' current white flag and the NEO Marines' black flag, as if it foreshadowed something.
The moment the two of them entered, they saw Leo and the others in the middle of a meeting and were immediately taken aback.
The bold-tempered Big Eater Bonney opened with a taunt. "Hey, hey, seriously? You're going to fight the Marines with this few people?"
"That's not a small number." Drake was much calmer. His gaze first moved away from Leo, then swept around the room before he said evenly, "Shichibukai Knight of the Sea Jinbe, Shichibukai Pirate Empress Hancock..."
